The Geological Club University of Malaya (KAGUM) is a campus group funded by the Department of Geology of the University of Malaya. Its for anyone interested in the earth sciences, trips around the great geology of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak, or just getting free pizza every other Wednesday. Undergrads, grads, faculty, and friends are always welcome.
8th to 13th August: The Second Year students went for the Structural Geology field trip at Pulau Kapas, Terengganu.
25th August: A technical talk presented by Mr. Lau Yin Leong entitled ‘The Jade Mines of Hpakan, Myanmar’ held at D.K.G.
31st August: Merdeka Day Celebration. All the reasons more to be proud being a Malaysian!
6th- Continuous Assessment Test for SGES 3102, Geologi Kejuruteraan II
11th- A Photography Workshop will be held at Dewan Kuliah Geologi at
9 a.m.
30th- Solat Hajat will be held at Surau Geologi in conjunction with the
coming Final Examination. All Muslim students are encouraged to come!
